Best British Bands of All Time

2012 sees Britain celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 London Olympics, which is why we feel that a countdown of the best British bands ever would be very suited for our 100th blog post. 

As you will probably know, Britain has produced - and continues to produce - some of the most successful bands, whose hits are shared worldwide. From The Beatles to Muse, there is a truly diverse range of music and so reaching a conclusion on which order to put them in was next to impossible - below we've listed all the noteworthy bands we can think of and then chosen our Top 10 best British bands ever.

 Led Zeppelin, The Bee Gees, Queen, Pendulum, The Verve, The Prodigy , Black Sabbath, Gorillaz, Deep Purple, Oasis, Kasabian , Kaiser Chiefs , The Cure, Coldplay, The Arctic Monkeys, Stereophonics, Jamiroquai, The Police, Razorlight, Dire Straits, Madness, The Libertines and many more!

Top 10 - Week 11 - 18th March 2012

Coldplay take the Number 1 spot with their latest single off Mylo Xyloto, 'Charlie Brown'. Top 10 Chart Comparison (4th and 11th)

Ben Howard takes the Number 1 spot for this weeks charts on Just Another Radio. Also, in the 11th March chart, there have been some Indie tracks from the likes of Cage the Elephant, The Naked and Famous and Death Cab for Cutie. All of these songs are worth to be checked out, and if you have Spotify, you can easily check them out here.  Ruby - Kaiser Chiefs has disappeared off the charts and Walk Off The Earth has just walked off the charts after being pushed down by the new entries. Top 10 Chart Comparison (15th & 22nd Charts)

So this week 'The Caesars' took the Number 1 spot pushing 'The Vines' down to number 3. As by request, Princess of China - Coldplay & Rihanna, is in the Top 10 chart and has been placed at number 2. Razorlight, Earth, Wind and Fire and Led Zeppelin have also made an appearance in this weeks charts. 

Paradise by Coldplay has temporarily disappeared from the charts for the simple reason it is being overplayed on other radios; we hope to see the songs return in future charts. Also, notably, 'Shake it Out', 'The Wolves' and 'Fast Car' have remained on the charts.

 Coldplay has been knocked off their number 1 spot by The Vines. The Vines famous track, 'Ride', is widely popular but has never received a number 1 spot; but we thought that they were worthy of the position.

'Pumped Up Kicks', 'Every Teardrop is A Waterfall', 'Crazy' and 'Lego House' have all disappeared of this weeks chart and have been replaced some older, but still great, tracks - notably, 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered', 'Heavy Cross', 'Fast Car' and this weeks number 1.

Top 10 - Week 2

 After last weeks success, Just Another Radio will continue to air the Top 10 chart show on Sunday's at 12:00 (noon) and at 19:00 (GMT).

Coldplay secured the Number 1 spot last week with Paradise, but there is a new Number 1 this week! Also, keep a listen out for those really great songs you'd almost forgotten. :D There will be a chart comparison post later this week and some music news.
